Cirque du Soleil--Kooza

saturday was very well spent. it was the last day of class & had a final to take, after that off I was off to mommy's to hang out with the family, then i met up w/my friend & we jumped on the train, then the NY water taxi to Randall's Island to see Kooza.

loved the boat ride, going to start looking into where the boats go around NYC & take them over the summer. it's a nice ride & a beautiful view of the City @ night.

highly recommend going whenever they are in town, it's better than the Circus {in my opinion}. a bit pricey but worth every penny. the only bad thing is that you are not allowed to take any pictures during the show. but you can see a preview of the show on their site :http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/kooza/default.aspx

already planning on attending Wintuk, their winter show...

Facebook

O my God, I am in love with Facebook. Simply because of the fact that I have lost touch with so many friends from Junior HS & High School. I love the fact that I am reconnecting with people who have meant so much to me. For 4 years, we not only shared a building together but memories, this place was my home away from home. Four years seem long when entering as a Freshman but once Senior year rolls around, you start to wonder where did the time go?

I remember a group of us would hang out in a classroom afterschool {who does that??}, the janitor was nice enough to allow us to hang out till 4:30 pm just as long as we didn't leave a mess & put the chairs back into place. What did we do for all that time? Nothing, just eat, talk, flirt & have a good time. It started out with a group of 3 then it gradually increased to about 15.

There were days that we would just cut class & go to Prospect Park & hang out for about 2 hours then go back to school like we've been there all day. Thank God for Vernon {our favorite security guard}

Ohh, the hooky parties & running off to Red Hook to hang out with friends/my Shorty. There was also the back of the staircase on the 3rd floor where all my West Indians hung out. Above that spot {4th Floor} was my Dominicans {shout to them}.

Believe it or not, I went to summer school just so that I can hang out with my friends. It was better than staying home & doing nothing.

All the excitement, a reunion is in the works & if all pans out right, I will be there. We chat on FB & check out each others profiles, pictures & exchange stories about our kids & work.

My how time flies...
