Monkey's Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so Saturday, Monkey {one of Lala's many pet names} & I arrived from the Dominican Republic. she was sad @ first & you can't blame, the child had a fun filled summer hanging out w/family & friends all day everyday. now she's back in the states & she's manily indoors & kinda of lonely. in DR, we have a bunch of cousins that we hang out w/on a daily basis--it's kind of like having a sibling around you all day. while here she's an only child, the only time she's around kids is in school, @ her saturday program & on sunday when she's @ communion class.

i have promised to make this year fun filled for her because I have decided that in September I would like for me & Vincent to have another child. I would like a boy, Vincent says he wants a girl so that he can always say "i'm going home to my all my ladies" or "the women in my life", Lala of course wants a sister. As much as i want a boy, i'll be happy with just having a healthy baby. also, if it's a good i won't be disappointed like i the first time--this time it will be different because Lala will have a sibling, she will have a sister {which is what she wants} & bound that i have always wanted.

crazy but I already have the names picked out for either sex. only time will tell & i will keep ya posted. for now, my Pooka Bug is home, loves her teacher, school & friends and most importantly by my side once again.

My Pooka Bug

so excited that I will be leaving next week to the Dominican Republic to visit friends & family but mostley to pick up my Pooka bug who has been out on vacation since the 7th of July.
She has been greatly missed & I cannot wait to see her again, I do wonder if she got taller, gained any weight, how pretty & mature she has gotten. I speak to her everyday but it's not the same as seeing her face to face & pinching her cheeks {which I love & she hates}.

I wasn't going to go because I really didn't want to spend money on a ticket for about 9 days but she asked & begged & then said the cutest thing ever. I asked her why she needed me to pick her up since she travels alone to DR, she said "I like sleeping on your lap when we're on the plane & go home together". Yep, I'm a sucka & it was a wrap for me, I do enjoy being on a plane w/Lala, she has never been a problem child on the plane. Always sits still in her seat, plays w/her toys/video game of the year & then knocks out for the reminder of the flight. She might wake up & eat/watch the movie. Lala has been flying since she was 9 months old & so I can imagine her skymiles--they must be crazy, she'll be flying for free/in first class before me :-)

Next Thursday, I will be on a flight to see my Pooka Bug & my Momma. Enjoy my time out there w/the people I love & especially spend time w/Papa. He's not doing to well so I'm hoping that my visit out there will cheer him up & give hime a more positive look on things.

I Miss My Pooka

so I am finally admitting that the summer officially sucks w/out my other half. i miss her coming up too me & asking "mommy what you doing" or "i'm hungry, can i have _______" or my favorite, just coming up to me & giving me hugs & lots of sugar {kisses}.

i do miss her & wish she were here but in reality, she deserves to be out there having fun & running around w/her cousins & friends. she can enjoy the her pool, the river/beach whenever, part take in all the fashion shows & dance shows that come up during the summer & enjoy the 2 week festival @ the end of August. she has more freedom to run around, continue to improve her Spanish, spend quality time w/her Abuelita {Grandmother} & hang out w/her family that she only gets to see once a year.

she is truly bless to have such a wonderful family that looks forward to her arrival every summer and i pray that she takes in every moment that she spends w/everyone & truly understand the meaning of love, respect, family & where one truly comes from--weather we have more than they do/not & too never think that we are better than anyone when it comes to material things. i pray that she understands the gift of giving to those less fortunate because she can be selfish @ times though she knows that it's a sin.

God bless her & may she continue to enjoy her summer. i shall be joining my Pooka in the beginning of September {God willing}. may everyone have a blessed & enjoyable summer.

Lala's in the Dominican Republic

once again Lala has left NY & has returned to her annual summer location--The Dominican Republic. Lord the issue I went through Monday night I hope will be the first & last time that ever happens to me/us again. So here's what happended, Monday night I call Mommy to remind her that Lala is leaving tomorrow morning {not like she would have forgotten} & to give her Lala's flight schedule. As I am reading her the info I come across the date & it says "6 Jul 09", I scream & ask Vincent "what's today, what date is it today" Vincent tells me that it's the 6. I start freaking out because Lala was to be scheduled for the 7th of July. He tells me to calm down & Mommy is on the other line asking me what happended, I tell her that I have to call her back. I call JetBlue & try to see what can be done because I swore I booked her flight for Tuesday & not Monday. She tells me that Lala can get on the night flight @ 10:15 & they will only charge me $100.00 for the change. That my dear is not going to work because my mother will not be on the road after midnight because where we live {in the deep country} there are no street lights & she's not a fan of Dominican drivers or there roads. So I ask her if she can get on tomorrow's flight and on the first one since that was the original plan, she said that that would be possible but that JetBlue doesn't hold seats, so I have to purchase the ticket soon as it's an almost full flight. I called Mommy & explained what happended & she said to pay whatever it cost & not to worry {what a grandmother does for her grandchild, amazing}. I call my cousin so that he can drive us to the airport & purchase the ticket for $210.00 {Lala didn't want to leave the following week & Mommy already had Lala's favorite foods done for her}. We all go downstairs to wait for my cousin {elevator was broken--again}, I told Vincent to go home because he has to be @ work early in the morning & we went straight to JFK Airport, told my cousin that he didn't have to wait because it was going to take long & he needs to be making money {he's a cab driver}. It was best to go to the airport that night because the ticket price would have gone up. Once all that was done, we jumped on AirTrain & ended up getting off @ the wrong station, so we had to wait for the other one to come & get off @ Federal Circle Station to go downstairs & catch the other AirTrain to Howard Beach. My dad calls & is wondering why I haven't called back, told him I was waiting for my train, then Mommy calls & asks if Lala is going to be on the first flight on Tuesday & I tell her yes.

We get home @ midnight {thank God they fixed the elevator} & I tell Lala to go straight to bed because she has to be up @ 3:30 am. We both go to sleep, I wake up first & get ready because after I leave JFK I'm going to work, wake her up so she can get ready, my cousin calls me @ 3:50 to tell me that he's on his way & I tell him that I will wait for him downstairs. I hull the suitcases to the front of the elevators & wouldn't you believe it---the motherfucking elevators was broken--AGAIN. Dammit, I live on the 18th floor, so you know I'm already pissed--I take the biggest suitcase, mine & Lala's purse, Lala is holding her small carry-on case & small duffle bag & start down the damn stairs. My cousin is already there & asks "what's wrong" so I tell him all he can say is "damn, I feel for you". We finally get to the airport, Lala get's checked in, I get my pass & we proceed to the gate. I take Lala to the bathroom & get her breakfast because JetBlue doesn't feed their passengers & she's not really a fan of airplan food. Finally, it's boarding time--kids & wheelchair bound passengers first. I have to stick around the airport until the flight takes off {it's a policy, just in case the plane turns around}. After the flight takes off, I jump on AirTrain to the A train & go straight to work, I got in @ 8 am & passed out for 45 mins.

Pictures from Lala's trip in Delaware

I'm glad that she had a great time & was on her best behavior. They are looking forward to her coming back again. They spent everyday in the pool, @ the park, throwing water balloons & hanging out w/friends from the neighborhood.

Lala's in Delaware

my child says she misses me so much that she hasn't called me in days. her father called her & lecutured her on being responsible about calling her parents when she is away. she has since learned her lesson as calls us every morning, i on the other hand am still upset because she always calls me when we're not together & now since she's having fun she's forgotten all about me. i know this fact to be true because she left a message on my voicemail saying so.

now she's calling every morning but i feel that she's doing it as a "let me check-in" instead of a genuine phone call to her parents. of course, i'm still upset & Vincent is fine--he says that i'm reading way too much into it but i don't care. i call my parents every other day & sometimes everyday; personally i just can't go too long w/out calling either one of them. the longest i can go is maybe 3 days & if i do, we're on the phone for hours catching up.

i even have to remind my brothers to call their parents because to them, "i spoke to them a few days ago" my response "it was actaully a week ago". they don't keep track of these things & i have told them to @ least to keep a schedule, like every other day. Rodney calls my mom every Sunday when she's in DR, but what can i say--to each's own..

my pooka will be back tomorrow on the 4th of july, that only gives us 3 days together & then she's off to DR on the 7th to be w/my mom. she was a bit upset that she wasn't going to my dad's house in DR because this year he will be here in worcester, ma for the summer.
i'm supposedly going to join her later on in the summer but i'm not sure, we'll just have to wait & see.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great News About Lala

Lala passed First Year Communion Class.

School is officially over on the 26th of June.

She passed her 3rd grade City Exam and will be in the 4th grade in September.

On the 24th of June she leaves to Delaware till the 3rd of July, comes back to Brooklyn till the 6th & on the 7th, my baby is off to the Dominican Republic until the 12th of September.

This trip is well deserved as she was in school for 7 days for the whole year. Monday-Friday was regular school, then extended day & then off to after school. Saturdays was her tutoring program {8:40-12:30}& Sundays was Communion class {9:00-12:00}. Can you say tired & of course she complained & even cried @ times that she wanted to stay home so that she can sleep but I still made her go.
She's my little trooper & I will miss her dearly till I join her in September.

Everyone in DR is excited that she will be back this summer, as you might recalled she didn't go last year due to Mommy being here for her Knee Replacement Surgery. I signed her up for the GO Project and even though she had lots of fun, made lots of friends & learned a lot she really didn't want to be in NY. Being here is not the same as being in DR, the freedom that one has when they're over there cannot never be compared to here. Mommy lives just 2 minutes from the River, so you know that was her favorite spot. Then there are the fashion shows that everyone signs her up for & the dance off competitions that she goes to w/her cousins. Just being able to run around the whole town w/her friends & family, tending to her dogs & cat, chasing chickens & goats, and spending lots of quality time her w/Abuelita.

Cirque du Soleil--Kooza

saturday was very well spent. it was the last day of class & had a final to take, after that off I was off to mommy's to hang out with the family, then i met up w/my friend & we jumped on the train, then the NY water taxi to Randall's Island to see Kooza.

loved the boat ride, going to start looking into where the boats go around NYC & take them over the summer. it's a nice ride & a beautiful view of the City @ night.

highly recommend going whenever they are in town, it's better than the Circus {in my opinion}. a bit pricey but worth every penny. the only bad thing is that you are not allowed to take any pictures during the show. but you can see a preview of the show on their site :http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/kooza/default.aspx

already planning on attending Wintuk, their winter show...

Facebook

O my God, I am in love with Facebook. Simply because of the fact that I have lost touch with so many friends from Junior HS & High School. I love the fact that I am reconnecting with people who have meant so much to me. For 4 years, we not only shared a building together but memories, this place was my home away from home. Four years seem long when entering as a Freshman but once Senior year rolls around, you start to wonder where did the time go?

I remember a group of us would hang out in a classroom afterschool {who does that??}, the janitor was nice enough to allow us to hang out till 4:30 pm just as long as we didn't leave a mess & put the chairs back into place. What did we do for all that time? Nothing, just eat, talk, flirt & have a good time. It started out with a group of 3 then it gradually increased to about 15.

There were days that we would just cut class & go to Prospect Park & hang out for about 2 hours then go back to school like we've been there all day. Thank God for Vernon {our favorite security guard}

Ohh, the hooky parties & running off to Red Hook to hang out with friends/my Shorty. There was also the back of the staircase on the 3rd floor where all my West Indians hung out. Above that spot {4th Floor} was my Dominicans {shout to them}.

Believe it or not, I went to summer school just so that I can hang out with my friends. It was better than staying home & doing nothing.

All the excitement, a reunion is in the works & if all pans out right, I will be there. We chat on FB & check out each others profiles, pictures & exchange stories about our kids & work.

My how time flies...

My Baby Got Glasses

5 years ago, Lala was diagnosed with astigmatism and was told that glasses were not needed @ the time because they wanted to see if her vision would correct itself. so every year she was scheduled to see her eye doctor {we love her, so attentive} for an update. for 2 years, this child has been wanting glasses and I've told her to stop wishing for them because if she got them, she wouldn't want them. so finally, this year her wish has come true & so has her reality.... she got glasses. of course, Vincent had to sit down with her & remind her that she needs to be responsible & take care of them & not lose them, or else.

She is suppose to wear them for 3 months & then go back for a checkup. She's not wearing them all day like she is suppose to, so I reminded her that every time she doesn't wear them it's going to be another week/month that her appointment will have to be rescheduled. we'll just have to wait & see. for now, she looks cute w/the glasses that her father picked out for her & she stays getting complements on them.

I'm Horrible

Just realized that I haven't posted a thing since last year, Thanksgiving.

I used to be a fan of writing on a daily basis back in the day & now I have become lazy. Maybe it's because nothing exciting is happening in my life. I feel like my life is running in a giant circle, doing the same thing over & over again. Wake up in the morning, jump in the shower & start my mornung routine before I wake Lala up, argue with her to get up & go through our usual morning routine, jump on the train, take her to school, walk to work, @ work till 5, pick her up from afterschool, go home, turn on the computer & tv, walk into the kitchen & start dinner, check in on Lala to make sure she's doing homework & not bullshitting while she's in her room, eat dinner, check her homework, tidy up the apartment, send her off to bed, take a shower, get comfortable, make calls/ do homework if I need to, jump on the computer & at about 11 turn everything off & head to my bedroom. Of course, I have to turn the tv on till I'm ready to fall asleep & of course do the samething again tomorrow & next day & the day after that.

Occasionally, we might go to Mommy's/Vincent's & spend the night. Not a fan of staying @ Mommy's because I'm trying to avoid the drama that goes on in that house. 9 out of 10, my name will be brought up about something that happended years ago/months ago & I'm not in the mood to hear that shit again, besides that I'm trying to keep a healthy relationship with my brother. The best way for that to happen is to stay out of the house because he knows how to piss me off & my parents hate when we're not speaking to each other.

I need something interesting to happen but not to dramatizing. Something positive & happy.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Dover, DE

i hope that everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Day with the ones they love. i know i did!!!

as you may remember, i mentioned that my godsister & her kids moved to Delaware over the summer. so she invited me, mommy, lala, her mother & sister to spend the weekend out there & to check out Dover, DE. we had a lot of fun but then again anytime we are together, it's always fun. Lala missed the kids so much that when we got in @ 2:30 am, they were up till 5 talking & hanging out in the living room. we didn't get to sleep till 6 am talking and preparing all the food.

the next day, the kids went to the park & we headed to Wally World {Wal-Mart}. NYC needs one & badly, of course i had to buy a few things. Thanksgiving Day was awesome, dinner was fulfilling & everyone was happy. later that night, we headed to the Casino's for a bit of gambling, drinking & sightseeing. we returned home @ 3 am then stood up watching a movie till 6am.

all in all, we had fun. even thinking about relocating to Dover, first i'll need to get a job & thank God there are quite a few Universities out there. None like where I am but my daughter's best interest in education, safe neighborhood to live in and peacefulness-along with some down time with her cousins. we'll see, just have to leave things in the hands of the Lord.
BTW, my all this is what i walked out of the Casino with & i'm still happy because i had a wonderful time with family.

Orlando Came & Left

so Thursday was the big 32 & to be honest it didn't faze me the least. strange when i was 25, i went on a 7 day cruise with my girlfriends and ended up having a mid-life crisis. sad & depressed & in the middle of the Caribbean Islands thinking that i haven't accomplished anything and that i was getting old and getting nowhere fast. now, i don't even see it that way; i am actually trying to count my blessing without the "buts" it's not easy for me but i'm getting there.

orlando came to town because one of his best friends was getting married & he was in the wedding. he bought along Neal {another best friend} and though the visit was just till Sunday, i enjoyed every moment with both them. looking forward to going to West Palm Beach & hanging out with them, haven't been there in 8 yrs.

i had a wonderful weekend with a friend, stayed home, watched movies & that's all ya need to know. sunday morning i went to mommy's house to spend the day with them, by the afternoon we were shopping and then once we got back to mommy's my cousin was there with his family {pic below}. my cousin came by to bring his kids over so that we can see how much they have grown, he hasn't seen his kids in 6 yrs. because he was fixing his papers here so he can become a resident. he finally got it done and now he isn't an immigrant, as i like to put it {i say this w/love}. after that a family friend & her husband drove Anthony {Orlando's middle name} & Neal to the airport & we came home.

my dad bought me my computer chair, mommy got me my bathroom set, my step-mother bought me pj's for DR, Anthony gave me money, and Lala made me 2 birthday cards.

the official birthday will kick off during Thanksgiving Weekend in Delaware. Vivian's birthday is the 25th & we will be celebrating it then. looking forward to getting out of the hood for a little bit, change is what i need. speaking off change, CONGRATS TO OBAMA & his success.
my daughter witnessed something greatly historic & what better birthday gift could a girl ask for.

Barack Obama for President

we remember that i have a 9 year old daughter and who @ times i believe is 19 years old. she is way to mature for her age, of course when it benefits her.

this child has been up and down the streets of NY letting everyone know how she feels and who needs to be president of the US. in her world, she is voting for Obama. cute :-)

friday i picked her up from afterschool {fridays are club days} and she was in her Nutrition class {not cooking class}. she and a few friends were in the middle of a deep discussion on Obama & McCain. the poor teacher was trying to teach them about the different toppings you can put on an apple slice instead of eating just a plain ole apple. god bless her, for not wanting to tell them to shut up, turn around & listen.

Lala, J, & A were telling H that she needs to be voting for Obama because McCain doesn't know what he's talking about. H tells them that her mother & her are voting for McCain because he has more experience & knows what he's talking about. J tells H that she has no business voting for McCain because she is Spanish & poor that they need a black man to help them out. Lala, of course, backs J up & reminds H that everyone is voting for Obama because he is smart & understands what Spanish & Black people are going through & that we need a change. A is standing in back of H chanting, "Obama, Obama, Obama".

A's mother told him to be quiet & sit down & that people can vote for who they thought was the man for the job. Lala tells A's mother that Obama is the man for the job & turns to H & tells her that when he wins she is going to cry because nobody is voting for McCain. She also reminds H that "you never see anyone with a McCain button/shirt". At this point, I tell Lala to be quiet & to pay attention to the teacher so that we can go home.

Because my child cannot vote, she is praying hard that Obama wins. So every night, he is in her prayers and on Facebook I posted a pin just for my baby girl.

Saturday's Halloween Show

my friend Rachel is an aerialist-silks & she invited a few of her friends to her Halloween performance on Saturday. it was good to see her, Dr. J, DeAndrea & meet a few of their friends. the company would not allow the audience to take pictures after the opener. so I was not able to take Rachel's picture while she was performing.
my date to her performance was Lala & she enjoyed the show, they opened the show with a "Thriller" number & ended it with a trapeze act. the ending had my heart stopping from time to time whenever the girls would let go of the swing & have the guy on the other swing catch her wrists. lord, did i pray for them while they were performing.

Rachel's performance was beautiful, saw her act on Facebook but watching a video & seeing a live performace are way different. Lala's said that she's beautiful & that her performance was the best by far. Can't wait for her next performance in December. Lala's already marked it on her calendar & is looking forward to it.

Oh Lala, Lala, Lala

what on God's green earth am i going to do with you. love you dearly & there's no doubt about that but sometimes you take to a place that makes me wonder if we are related @ times.

friday was movie night @ her school, we had a wonderful evening watching "the witches". i sat with vincent & she sat with her girlfriends all the way in the back. after the movie ends, i tell her to put on her sweater & jacket. of course, she tells me that her sweater is in her backpack so i look @ the backpack & see that it looks kind of empty. i open the bag & she admits that she lost it {as usual} of course I am pissed. wait, it gets better... while on the train going home, i realize that Lala doesn't have her hannah montana purse with her. i ask & she tells me that she gave me the purse while she was hanging out with her friends, i think for a minute & remember that she did no such thing because I had a benefits fair earlier & had a bag full of information & goodies. the only thing i had was her iPod because i saw her friend L with it & she knows that i don't want anyone listening to it. since she doesn't have it & i didn't have that meant that she left in school, you know i was pissed because she lost almost $200.00 worth of stuff in that bag. her DS & all her games, her lotion, wallet & money were in the bag. she's on punishment even if the purse shows up.

saturday mornings we are both in class, so when picked her up after class S {a parent & member of the PTA} handed the purse over to me. after i thanked her she explained how she came about getting the purse {everything was in there}. Lala's friend B saw some girl with the purse & told S that some girl had Lala's purse & was about to leave the school. S stopped the little girl & explained to her mother that the purse her daughter had was not her's & that she needed to hand it over.

yesterday, i find out from S that during after lunch she had to help Lala find her brand new winter coat because she missplaced it. on my way to pick her up the only thing i could was pray that she had found it. while looking through the lost & found, she came across the sweater she lost on friday. though she has both items, her punishment has been extended till January.
no DS, iPod, costume for Halloween, we are not going to see HSM this friday as planned, no tv, no music, will not participate in any activities @ school, and if she loses another thing--she can forget about Christmas.

Greetings Again

I know that I've been a bad girl & haven't written in such a long time. No real reason except that I have been busy with school, tending to Lala {who thinks she's grown}, mommy's still in town, Rodney {older brother} just got laid off & just recently got a new job and of course, the everyday thing that happens to each and everyone of us.....LIFE.

School, my Professor almost made me cry three classes ago. She felt that all I do is rant, in class & in my writing assignment's. She also didn't seem to be to excited that I had already read "Of Mice & Men" for the fifth time & hadn't learned anything new from reading it yet again. Sorry but after reading the books more than three times & having discussions in class, there is anything new to learn if it's already been discussed & you've written papers on the book.

Mommy, love the woman to pieces, even to death but she has got to go back to DR. I am planning on buying her ticket after I come back from DR in January. I understand that she wants me to spend plenty of time @ her house with Lala, but I do have a life that I need to continue to live. Will miss her dearly when she leaves though but lets be honest here, she doesn't want to be here anymore than I want her to stay. I am glad that her knee replacement surgery went well, now she'll be able to stay in DR without having to worry about anything serious. All she needs to do is come for an annual check-up or if she feels that something is wrong. She is getting her last physical exams & prescription meds together so that she doesn't have to come back for awhile.

Over the summer, Vivian {my God sister} & the kids moved to Delaware :-(
She had reasons to move out there, I wish her & the kids the best out there & they know that they are missed greatly over here. It's strange, we've been together since we were four--pre K, Kinder, Catholic School {1st-6th grade}, different JHS, HS, & Colleges but in the same borough of New York. It was hard @ first, not being able to just jump on a train to go to her house & chill for the weekend. Lala misses them all, especially Sully {my Goddaughter}, their is a 6 year difference but they love each other's company. We will be visiting them for Thanksgiving, so Delaware here we come.

As for me, I am working things out with my long distance boyfriend in DR, staying focus in school, saving money, thinking of changing jobs but staying @ the University, thinking on relocating to Florida or maybe even Delaware {Vivian says I'll love it out there} and most importantly, reevaluating my friendship with certain people. Only time will tell what will happen, but I promise to keep you posted.

Ciao

Robin Hood Lala, I Think Not!!!

today Lala decided to be Robin Hood, her version of course is way different then the orginial.
as we all know, when you take something to school & you shouldn't {after many verbal warnings}it gets confiscated until the end of the school. so Miss Robin Hood & two of her other friends decided that instead of practicing for the Talent Show they would go help M find his ball. M convinced them that they can go back to class get the ball & that H can get her DS back as well. Lala {miss adventurous} decided that that was a great idea & that since school was almost over, they will return whatever they found in the crate back to its rightful owner.

however, tweedle dee, tweedle doo, & tweedle fool {Lala the fool}, should have realized that there was no way they would have gotten away with it. they start handing back things to the kids & of course the kids start thanking them & playing w/their returned items. when the teacher so that the kids were not paying attention, she went over to them to see what was going on. kids being kids, they told the teacher who gave them back their stuff & low & behold----I get a phone @ work from her teacher.

Lala is now on punishment, she will not allowed to attend the Afterschool Annual Party on Friday & I am pulling her out of the Talent Show. this is the price she has to pay for her actions, her teacher has asked them to write down what their consequence should be--she's thinking but her punishment as I said before is: she will not participate in the Talent Show, as well as no iPod, no tv, DS, PSP, no phone calls or use of the computer

A Wonderful Week

This week was spent just wonderful, my little brother & niece came for a visit (live in West Palm Beach). My niece just turned 2 on May 16th & boy is she something else, Lala had so much fun with her, she was bathing her, making sure she had milk or juice, feeding her & changing her diapers. The whole time she kept telling me how good she's doing taking care of her baby cousin, hint-she wants a brother/sister. She will have to wait like I told her, I just went back to school & it's kicking my ass.

I am only taking one class & the shit is crazy. I have 3 reports due: a management report, company report & a book report. On top of these reports, I have to read a book on management for my book report & the required Chapter reading for class. One chapter is anywhere from 36-50 pages long. So much information to learn & remember, the good thing is that the authors of the book have a website with tons of information from the book, especially the powerpoint presentations :-). the slides are the best for me & help with class & makes the reading more understandable as to what I really need to focus on for my midterm & class discussions.

Managing My Time

I am back but just don't know for how long. Things have been pretty crazy with so much going on...So in a HUGE nutshell here we go, mommy is finally better & her thearpy has ended, she almost as good as new it's just takes time, Lala turned 9 on the 21st & we have yet to celebrate due to her being on punishment & the crazy school schedule she has. This is the 2nd year that she will be performing for the school's end of the year Talent Show, swimming class, projects for club {creating their own magazine}, I got accepted to NYU & have classes once a week {Business Organization & Management} from 6:20-9:30pm, Vincent picks up Lala from school & tends to her every needs {Mr. Mom}, as well as keeping her busy while I do homework & study for 2-3 hours, work is good & things are slowing down in the office so that allows me time to read my chapters for class & work on my management report as well as my book report {Winning-Jack Welsh}, planning Lala's belated birthday party, she got accepted to a summer program & this weekend is her Assessment Exam--oh yeah, mommy & Lala will be here for the summer. Once summer school is over, she will then go to Florida w/mommy & then on to Worcester till Labor Day.

I am so tired that it's starting to show, haven't been sleeping much after the sudden death of my cousin & the unexpected death of my grandmother. Also having to deal with issues from all angles of friends & family. I am to the point where I am going to have the I don't care attitude cause all the BS is really bothersome. They want advice & when you give, they don't like the honesty or do the opposite & then get mad because you didn't stop them or change their minds
